Contract for Scotland's first YOTEL Hotel, in Edinburgh

The first YOTEL Hotel in Scotland is being constructed in Edinburgh’s New Town, and Riddell PM has now concluded contracts with the Principal Contractor ISG Construction to produce a Building Fabric O&M Manual and a Building User Guide. Our scope will include collation of all O&M Information from the projects Sub-contractors and Design Team Consultants.

Scheduled to open in early 2019, the former Erskine House in Queen Street will be transformed into a £17m 280-bedroom Hotel, offering something which meets every budget, from a Premium Cabin to VIP Suite. Additionally, there will be a fully equipped gym, two-storey screening room, destination bar, and YOTEL’s club lounge.

Designed by Edinburgh’s Fletcher Joseph Architects and the interior designer, Aedas, the hotel will integrate elements of other luxury hotels and is inspired by first-class airline cabins.
