Our Managing Director, Dave Riddell, has graduated from Strathclyde University. Dave was accepted in May 2015 to participate in the countrry's first dedicated growth programme, designed for ambitious entrepeneurs and business owners looking to scale up their businesses.
The 10-month Growth Advantage Programme, designed by the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at Strathclyde Business School in partnership with Santander, aimed to enable entrepreneurs and growth-focused business owners to realise their organisation’s full potential.
As well as business-focused and research-based ‘useful learning’ delivered by leading academics, participants gained valuable insights from influential entrepreneurs including Sir Tom Hunter and Chris van der Kuyl who talked through their growth strategies and how they overcame the challenges to growth that they faced.
The Growth Advantage Programme is targeted at managing directors or chief executives of businesses turning over at least £500,000 and experiencing significant year-on-year increase in turnover, profit, people or investment. Just 15 places were available for the first intake of the course.
Along with a graduation ceremony, all cohorts were invited to the Entrepreneurial Scotland awards in Glasgow
