Pitlochry golf course once again played host to the annual Riddell PM Hamlet Golf Competition.
This was the 27th occasion that the 5700 yard, par 69, course has been the venue for the competition and the weather stayed reasonably dry throughout the day.
In the morning 12 players fought it out for the prestigous Hamlet Trophy, with Graham Stewart coming in top. Both Richard Gill and Dave Riddell managed to finish 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Prizes were awarded for Nearest Pin and Longest Drive - both won by Derek Riddell.
In the afternoon the players were teamed up to compete for the Auchterlonie Cleek Trophy which was in the Texas Scramble format. The winning team, after a close battle, consisted of Mark Boland, Dave Riddell and Richard Gill.
Prizes were once again awarded for Nearest Pin and Longest Drive - this time both won by Richard Gill.
The Pitlochry course once again demonstrated why it is one of the finest inland golf courses in Scotland.
