Riddell sweeps up £111m recycling & waste plant contract

Riddell PM started the month of September by receiving an order to undertake production of all the Operation and Maintenance Manuals on the £111m Levenseat project in Forth, Scotland.

The plant, due for completion in 2017, is a landmark project being the first of it's kind in the UK to combine fluidised bed gasification technology and Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF). To achieve this first the plant includes two main sections, a 12.3 MWe energy from waste (EfW) plant and an adjacent Materials Recycling Facility (MRF).

Working with M+W Group, Riddell PM will produce a full suite of documents covering the overall site, the MRF and Gasification structures, and the various substantial processes and systems involved. These will be delivered to M+W Group in both digital and hard copy formats.
