Thank you to everyone who took part in the Annual Riddell PM Hamlet Trophy on Friday 13th June. We were (mostly) fortunate with the weather which made for an excellent day of golf at Pitlochry Golf Club.

Congratulations to this year’s Hamlet Trophy winner, Derek Riddell! Derek has been in excellent form recently, and it certainly showed on the day. He secured a well-deserved victory, finishing six shots clear of the field.

We’d also like to congratulate the runner-up, Tom Gill. As always, Tom was firmly in the mix for the trophy and delivered a strong round. We’re confident he’ll be back next year, ready to go one better.

This year also marked a special tribute, as the Auchterlonie Cleek was officially renamed the Ronnie Muir Cup in honour of our dear friend Ronnie Muir. Ronnie played in the event many times over the years, so we were proud to celebrate his legacy with a commemorative trophy made in his name.

The inaugural Ronnie Muir Cup was won by Dave McKenzie, Paul Meikleham, and Ian Aurus — a fantastic effort and a well-deserved win. Congratulations to all three!
