Our Client, Morgan Sindall, were awarded the Contract by Heriot-Watt University for a new-build Halls of Residence on their busy Edinburgh Campus.

As part of a wider £26m development programme including new residences at the Scottish Borders Campus. The new £14m Edinburgh residence project has been named Christina Miller Halls of Residence.

Providing 277 bed spaces and a range of student accommodation types, two new L-shaped buildings frame a garden courtyard space at the edge of an area of raised ground.

Riddell PM provided a full range of products and services on behalf of Morgan Sindall’s site team for the management and production of Project Handover Documentation:

• Building Fabric Manual
• Mechanical Services O&M Manual
• Electrical Services O&M Manual

After our initial Appointment, we were also instructed to convert all digital O&M Information into our Pyramid Digital Building Manual® format, for inclusion into the Heriot-Watt University Campus Digital Building System which we continue to update with new construction works – across all Heriot-Watt University buildings and external areas.
