The Beaulieu Park School is Essex’s first ‘All Through’ school with the primary phase opened for reception students in September 2018 and the secondary phase opened in late 2019.
Located in Chelmsford, the Project had a construction value of circa. £31m, and included the new-build construction of a new Early years Centre, Primary School, Secondary School and a Sports Centre. The works include all associated external works including 6 No. MUGAs, all weather pitch including flood lights and fences, cap parks, soft and hard play areas.
The new school, offers 420 primary school places and 56 Early Years places and a capacity to take up to 900 secondary school pupils (or 180 per age group), which could then grow to 1200 (or 240 per year group) in future years.
Riddell PM is proud to have helped Kier Construction provide the high-quality Operation & Maintenance documentation to meet the requirements of the Essex County Council and the building’s users.
Our technical writing and document management included the management and production of a Building Fabric O&M Manual for each of the school and sports hall buildings.
