Our work included producing: -
40 Chancery Lane won the RIBA London and RIBA National awards in 2015, and provides 102,000 sq ft net of Premium Grade A office space with ground floor retail units. Designed by architects Bennetts Associates, the Project was designed to incorporate the existing building at Tooks Court around a central courtyard, accessible by the public during the day. Although predominantly new-build, a 19th Century façade was retained.
The project team also included ARUP as the Services Engineer and AKTII as the Structural Engineers.
During our appointment, our Technical Authoring Team conducted several visits to the London site, allowing us, in the final weeks of construction, to take high quality photographs for inclusion into our BREEAM Building User Guide. This helped the end Client, Derwent London, to achieve a BREEAM rating of Excellent.
