With our growing track record providing O&M Manual services for Kier Construction across the UK, Riddell PM was delighted to be awarded a further project in the South East. The University of Essex, appointed Kier as Principal Contractor for their £17.5m Albert Sloman Library and Student Centre project on their Colchester Campus.
Kier successfully delivered an extended library offering 388 additional study spaces, 24/7 postgraduate reading room with an increased storage capacity of over 1.4 million books. Additionally a newly constructed Student Centre houses a 250 study space reading room, new Student Services Hub, IT Helpdesk and state-of-the-art media centre and treatment services.
Following our ISO 9001 O&M Manual procedures, Riddell PM managed the retrieval and gathering of all data from Subcontractors, Package Contractors and Consultants necessary for the planning, production and delivery of the following documentation:
