CityPark1 is a new 4 storey building providing circa 215,00ft2 of Grade A commercial office space and is located in the CityPark Campus business park, 2 miles South East of Aberdeen City Centre
When works were completed CityPark1 become the new home for the multinational energy services company, John Wood Group PLC, and their 1900 employees.
Scotland’s leading commercial property and investment company, HFD Group, appointed Brookfield Multiplex Construction as Principal Contractor to design and construct the new £80m high specification head office, which achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’
The building has piled foundations and reinforced concrete with raised access floors throughout. The external cladding of the building is a mixture of facing brick, Dura limestone, zinc cladding panels and recon-stone feature window surrounds.
The roof of the building is an inverted single ply roof with ballast and incorporates a covered roof plant area.
The vehicle access route leads to the main car park and ancillary basement and deck level car parks providing 894 car parking spaces. The basement will be accessed via a two-way ramp to the north west of the site.
Riddell PM were appointed to provide our innovative Pyramid Digital Building Manual including production of the Building Fabric Manual , Mechanical Services Manual , Electrical Services Manual and a BREEAM Building User Guide.
