Goathill Care Home and Housing with Extra Care Project, Stornoway

McLaughlin & Harvey have successfully delivered the first housing and extra care housing of its kind in the Western Isles.

This £32 million project consisted of the construction of a single-storey fifty-two place care home with four wings to facilitate small group living.

Shared facilities include communal day room, dining room, quiet room, barrier free access to daylight spaces, and an external courtyard for recreational use.

The fifty extra care housing units comprise kitchen/dining area, living area, and ensuite with 24 hour staffing provision to support the residents.
