The Hamilton Grand in St Andrews is a 122-year-old building, originally opened as the Grand Hotel, set by the 18th hole of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club’s Old Course and is the second most photographed building in the world of golf.
Kohler & Co, which own The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa, instructed ISG Construction to undertake a full restoration and conversion of the building in order to restore its Victorian grandeur. The near derelict property has been transformed into 26 luxury residencies consisting of 2, 3 and 4 bedroomed apartments, along with a resident’s private lounge, a stylish bar and restaurant, an open roof terrace with panoramic views of the Old Course, the North Sea and the St Andrews castle ruins. Residents also enjoy a concierge service and a complimentary butler service.
