Another successful on-time delivery for our valued Client Mclaughlin & Harvey, who were contracted by their Client Aldgate Developments Ltd.
The One Braham Development in Aldgate, London provides 320,000 square feet of BREEAM Excellent Grade A office accommodation. The site also has 10,000 square feet of retail space. BT have announced that the 18 Storey Building will become their new HQ as part of their Better Workplace programme.
The highly efficient floorplates are configured around a single core placed on the southern edge of the building with the vertical circulation exposed. The building rises to a maximum height of 18 office floors in the tallest portion, above a double height ground floor with basements below. The façades to the office accommodation are fully glazed with vertical brise-soleil to the east, south and west façades. The ground floor is set back to form a colonnade modulating between the new park, the building entrance and adjacent shops.
